Salaam everyone
I need a question about something which has been bothering my mind for some time.
As a muslim I do know that investing in for instance business that work with alcohol og interest on loan is haraam. My question is that today in the arab part of the muslim world we adore heroes, who have made a mark in the business world. But the thing confuses me is that many of these muslim investors derive their fortunes from investments made in hotels (that sell alcohol) and international banking groups that work with interest as their core business.
Why is this accepted?
