At present it takes years to teach children to read and write Arabic.
As for converts, many never master Arabic literacy at all, mostly because there are too few teachers, it takes too long, and it's not easy. Mafatih-l-Katb is a new system designed so that students can learn to read and write Arabic in days. It's not software - it consists of a set of cards anyone can use, anywhere, any time. There is an optional pronunciation guide available on tape or CD, and extra materials can be downloaded from the Web if required.
We intend in sha Allah to produce an initial run of 20,000 sets, for sale initially in the USA, in order to demonstrate the concept. Once it is known and accepted, we will offer the product to educational bodies all over the Arab and Muslim world, so that all our children can learn to read and write in the first week at school.
The initial capital involved is $200,000, and we seek partners on a mudharabah or musharakah basis.
