السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

I am seeking for those who are interested to invest in establishing a chain of Halal Frozen & Instant Retail Outlets in major cities of Malaysia. I have conducted extensive research about halal food business in Malaysia. The findings is amazing and provide excellent business opportunities. I have also formulated the business plan and looking forward to execute them strategically.

For a start, I plan to open up at least 30 stores nationwide in selected cities as follows:
1. Kuala Lumpur (10 stores)
2. Shah Alam, Selangor (5 stores)
3. Johor Bahru, Johor (5 stores)
4. Ipoh, Perak (4 stores)
5. Penang (6 stores)

The number of retail outlets will increase gradually after a year of operation either through chain outlets or even franchising. The products to be offered by the store are those that obtained "Halal" approval from the Malaysian Islamic Religious Department and certified by the Malaysian Standard Authority (SIRIM). Price of products will be attractive to consumers. All the retails outlets will carry Islamic theme which include store decoration, business transaction with akad, point of sales which interface with the main server based on real-time store transactions, one-stop online/toll free number orderings and payments, central inventory management and accounting system, standard store layout and specially trained workers.

The objectives summary of the business are:
1. To provide a business platform that offer good returns in this life and thereafter (Fard Al Kifayah) by providing guaranteed halal food for the Muslim community in Malaysia.
2. To help fellow Muslim brothers and sisters market their products effectively, thus creating economic wealth for Muslim entrepreneurs in Malaysia.
3. To offer a range of frozen and instant food products that are easily prepared for consumption by the Muslim people who may not have enough time spend at kitchen as most of the Muslim household in Malaysia are made of working husband and wife.
4. Helping those who are not good at cooking to easily prepare delicious food without having to acquire special cooking skills.

The business transaction will be based on direct store sales and also online/toll free number for home delivery for those who reside within 10km from the nearest store. Purchase are COD either by cash or credit/debit card.

I am looking for investors/funders/partners/venture capitalists to help me launch this business soon. In order to launch this business successfully, it requires a total investment of USD$5 million. Based on my conservative calculation, the longest period it needs to breakeven is 2 years but possible to achieve within shorter period.

I prefer to have a personal discussion in order for me to share the details of the business with serious party. If you are interested to be part of this exciting opportunity, please contact me personally at +60194560806 or email me at rizal1509@ymail.com.

Dear Mr. Rizal,

From what you explained in your brief proposal, it looks interesting because I have personally visited Malaysia several times. It is a truly beautiful country with such friendly and well mannered people. However, I do agree that there is no halal food outlets that sells specifically halal food for Muslims. Although the foods sold at hypermarkets are all halal, there is still a lack of smaller halal retail outlets especially in the residential area. Most of the mini markets there are operated by Chinese who are mainly non-muslim. Therefore, what you are planning is good.

I am interested but would prefer to hold personal discussion with you as I intend to visit Malaysia for some business meetings in Kuala Lumpur. I will be there in mid-January. I will call you very soon to establish our communication and lets see how do we go from there. I hope you have the complete business proposal and financial projections ready for discussion. Anyway, we will discuss it over the phone soon.

May ALLAH bless you and the project you are working on. إن شاء الله

assalammuaikum Mr Rizal,

I like your idea and Malaysia is a place where many Muslims have started to buy "halal" food. It wud be a great investment. I suggest you also open mini francise outlets so that small halal outlets can be opened in smaller towns. The demand is high!

I'm more interested in joining you but is concern on the capital aspect.
