There are some large and medium-sized ship building enterprises within Jiangdu Development Zone along the reaches of the Yangtze River, Jiangsu Province, such as China Shipping Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd., Yangzhou Kejin Shipping Industry Co., Ltd., Dingheng (Jiangsu) Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Yangzhou Longhe Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Yangzhou Hairun Shipping Industry Co., Ltd., Yangzhou Runyang Shipping Industry Co., Ltd, their annual outputs reaching 1 million MT. By the end of the plan of Eleventh Five-Year, the annual Shipbuilding production capacities will reach 3,000,000 tons, the ship related industry has better market prospects with excellent economic benefits. In order to further enlarge and strengthen enterprises, to seize the international market, improve market coverage, in December 2007 , we decided to invest 150 million yuan RMB to get the use rights of land 40 mu, at the provincial level Jiangdu development zones to set up the ship attachments project of the Marine low-voltage electrical, electronic instruments, etc, the designed production scale of 500 million yuan RMB.
