I am currently running an aquaculture company and farm called Southern Blue Sea Trading Co Ltd in Songkhla Thailand. My nature of business is basically to export fish fries and fingerlings to the local, Malaysian and Singapore market. I have had requests from other countries but had to turn them down due to lack of capital and cashflow. I currently have a few variety of fish that we breed ourselves and the rest we source out from the best farms in Thailand. I have spent this couple of years in vigourous market research and have emphasized high quality approach towards products delivered. The result has been very encouraging as the company have currently got good recognition and response from customers and suppliers.
Lately, we had requests to supply marketable size fish into malaysia and Singapure mainly red and black tilapia and also some marine fish. Due to our expertise in fish fries and fingerlings we are contemplating in growing of the said fishes to marketable size and have located additional infrastructure for this purpose. We have already obtained the market for the products but are unable to move further due to lack of funds.
