Hey Sisters!!
Business idea by UK Muslim women for Muslim women and girls, we are looking for Muslim (particularly Muslim women) investors. We are based in an area that has a large Muslim population, including a large number of converts/reverts. There is a need for sports facilities exclusively for women.
Nowhere to run around!
Although there are women-only classes already available within mixed centres there are no places that are men-free offering the range of facilities we are planning to provide. There are plenty of sisters who could participate but few with the capital needed to help set it up. There would be a creche and canteen providing healthy snacks and nutritional advice. Sports such as football, badminton, netball, etc. British sisters who refuse to compromise their deen deserve somewhere that they and their daughters can stay active and therefore stay healthy.
An opportunity!
It would also be a meeting place and therefore an extra opportunity for daw'ah in this growing community. Muslims from many places come to this area because of existing facilities, such as Islamic schools, bookshops, duroos. We would like to provide this extra service as a way to keep the Muslim women of this ummah healthy and the Muslim girls involved. Anyone wanna help? Please contact me for more info, or to give advice,

A womens gym perhaps?
Thu, 2007/06/07 - 13:00In the middle east the womens gym business is picking up, with huge demands. They usualy are more profitable than the mens gyms because there are not many around, thus demand is greater.
It sounds interesting, please supply me with plan, cost etc, so that we can start with something tangible if you are still interested.
