Assalamu Alaikum
Innovations on the internet has run low and there are no more rooms left for big business on the internet. Google being the latest money making company on the internet.
However there are still some business models that have not yet been explored. I have come up with a business model that has the potential to have more than 15 million paid customers monthly. Revenue per annum in excess of a billion dollars is achievable.
Seeking investments at least USD 1.2 million to start an internet company in the US. Serious investors only.

Fri, 2006/12/01 - 23:17What exactly is your idea bro? If you don't want to disclose it to me, what I CAN do is recommend that you seek out a (Muslim) investment banker. You can easily find one in the U.S., but try looking for one in some oil rich Arab country too ;)
Btw, this idea must probablly be super innovative, because monetizing the internet with just $1.2 million USD and expecting future sales to be in excess of a BILLION USD is pretty darn hard to fathom at the moment.
BUT, don't get discouraged by this. I'd say get funded, start up your company, and when it DOES generated 15 million users PER MONTH (like you claim), then put it up for sale to the big boys, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Ebay, etc... (EBAY bought Skype for $4.1 billion or something, and GOOG bought YouTube for like $1.3 billion, and those aquired companies don't even make money, lol). So Insha'Allah you could do the same.
I'd be interested in being a small shareholder in your company (I am not a millionaire though, but might be able to put up a few thousand in the future =0)
Mas'Salam.

Sat, 2006/12/02 - 03:23I need a serious partner bro. I need 1 million just to apply for the entrepreneur visa to start business in the US. If you're from there, we can be serious partners bro. Tell me more about yourself. Do you have a computer background? We can work things out. Couple of thousands is sufficient to make a prototype. Keep in touch bro.

Was'Salam. No I am not from
Sun, 2006/12/03 - 01:15Was'Salam. No I am not from the U.S. I live in Canada. I am very good friends with an American-Muslim, however... Might come in use? But what exactly is your idea? I do not really have a computer background - i.e., I know nothing about programing, and can only make very basic web pages. Would you like to share your idea via email instead? I don't have the ability to create "prototypes", and do not have $1 million to fund a company, so your idea is safe with me. If you don't want your idea to appear here, then send me a private message. I will delete your reply afterwards so it doesn't remain on the server.

How to fund your idea
Fri, 2006/12/01 - 23:39Salam bro. I don't know if you recieved my reply because it isn't showing up in the comments section. So I'll repeat myself briefly.
1] Find a Muslim investment banker (visit the websites of the big guns: GoldmanSachs, MerrillLynch, CSFB, BearSterns, etc...) and he'll arrange investors FOR you. Of course, if the investors like your idea then the investment bank will ask for a % share ownership in your company (as will the investors who put up the money).
2] When you company achieves your 15 million users/month target then put it up for sale to Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Ebay, or Time Warner, and get them to compete on bidding on the sale price ;) I saw this Irani Muslim woman who sold her company for like $750 million. And Google and Ebay have bought profitless companies (YouTube and Skype) for BILLIONS of dollars recently only because these sites have a LOT of users.
I would be interested in knowing more about your idea, however. Because if you seriously feel it can generate in excess of a BILLION USD per year in the future, then I wouldn't mind owning a few thousand dollars worth of shares in your company... BEFORE you sell it, of course ;) Insha'Allah.
Salamz.

Either way, inshallah Allah give you barakat in a halal business.

The Next Big Thing
Tue, 2007/01/09 - 22:32I have the same problem as you brother. But my circumstances are slightly different. You are looking for investment while i am looking for a partner to help me develope my concept as well as investment. What I'm looking for is someone with a technology background and a bank account big enough to get the concept up and running. I have presented my idea to top tier venture capitalists in North America. I have recieved positive feedback but they dont invest in the seed stage. What they want me to do is build and then they'll come. I seriosly dont know what to do. Its an internet consumer website that could an impact the size of ebay and google. Any suggestions?

B2B cost cutting market place business
Thu, 2007/02/01 - 12:20Salam,
I created the costkiller.net B2B portal in 2003 from scratch. Four years later Costkiller.net portal attract more than 25 000 visitors per month, mainly international corporate companies from around the world seeking cost cutting and costs saving solutions. Now it’s time to make money. I come up with business model to build a cost cutting marketplace. I start a poll to get users feedback and the result is pretty good. So the potential is huge. To have an idea just have a look on the Alibaba.com success story (over US$6 billion in trade estimated in 2005). This online business can be based anywhere even if the best place is in Europe or in the States where most of the global buyers are located. There’s also a brick and mortar side based on a cost cutting trade show business.
I’m seeking investments and I would send a business plan only to serious investors.
You can visit the B2B portal right now : http://costkiller.net
Best Regards,
Hafid
