Investment In Bangladesh

Let me take the privilege to introduce myself before you. I am Md. Golam Masud, Here representing my own company Protimax International.
 
Protimax International, engaged in Indenting, Import and export activities operating from its Dhaka Office in Bangladesh. I had been in the business since 1995 especially in the livestock sector.
 
In Bangladesh, there is a very prospective potential market of feed ingredients and feed additives for animal feed industry as well as fish and shrimp industry. Hope you know Bangladesh is one of the leading shrimp exporters to the world market and with a local consumer market of 140 million people.   So I have keen interest to deal with the above products being as a manufacturer or agent in Bangladesh.
 
I am also paying special interest on other products like Cereal, grains and pulses for Human consumption. Vegetables and protein meals for feed industry. Corn, Milo, Sorghum, Cassava, Barley, Wheat are also may include as feed ingredients.
 
Poultry Industry: real industrialization started from 1991 in Bangladesh, and getting a strong shape day by day, here 5 GP are operating for broiler PS and about 90 PS, hatchery are in production with forward linked commercial farming thus huge tremendous opportunities are availed by the investors to set up feed mills, feed additives company like premix plant, also there exits a huge demand of edible soy bean oil that are totally import dependant of crude oil resulting presence of many refineries here.

The country is highly populated and as only rice is the staple food, so crop diverfication is going slowly that resulted a scarcity of agro by products as well as feed ingredients. So, there is many business opportunities for oil processing (Through import), oil meal/cakes (Soya meal/Canola meal/Sunflower cakes/ Safflower cakes), marketing of other feed ingredients like MBM, Fish meal, Poultry by product meal etc.
