Our aim is to bring wealth to our clients by utilizing Islamic Finance in its essence rather than chasing after fixed rate riba returns by simply using sub-contracts, SPV's and different descriptions for conventional fixed-income products.

We are Value Investors. For us, the value of a company lies in its assets. We do not speculate on growth – be it company specific or by sector-, not on future earnings or macro economic outlooks. We look at finance and economics from an Islamic perspective which allows us to see the dangerous fragility that makes up our global financial system. For that reason we believe that the best companies are those that have the strongest assets and the least debt on their balance sheets. We use sophisticated techniques to estimate the value of a company’s assets and earnings power based on its position in the market.

When analyzing a security we further look at certain ratios defined by the Sharia advisory board of the Dow Jones Islamic markets index. These include debt/market cap ratio, liquid assets ratio, percentage of Interest income, etc. All the companies in our portfolios operate in industries that are consistent with shariah precepts.
