I am in the process of developing an IT firm to be based in Malaysia. You can read about me in my profile for more information. I have successfully started and managed 2 previous companies in the US that ran into the millions, net profit. Both IT related. Both lost all from corrupt business partners.
As stated above I am now looking to start a new IT venture in Malaysia, concentrating on web development and VOIP services, and looking for partners in the venture. Mostly, muslim malaysians, as is the law to have 2 malaysian directors. Initial investment from $0-$5000. Most of the initial work has already been done by myself, so that is complete. I need honest, muslim partners that have a drive to succeed. I do not believe in large venture capital for startups as it kills the initial drive for success.

For that amount of money, i think im able to fork out from the little savings that i have. However im not a Malaysian but a Singaporean Muslim. So are there any oppourtunities for me?

Sun, 2006/07/23 - 01:59Yes. As long as you are capable of and able to start a company in malaysia or know any malaysians interested. I would rather keep the company in a muslim land. The rest we can discuss as most of the setup is complete, there is only the company formation left.
