Our parent company is a very well established design and engineering company, so for this reason we have an incredible team of in house designers and CNC computer programmers, which allows us to offer the end user an incredibly unique bespoke unit in a very short space of time. Also we are able to not only meet the needs electronically, but we are also able to offer items such as handrails, stair wells and any other such equipment needed in any form of metal, the limit really is down to imagination.

We have also recently launched some incredible remote metering systems that are a true industry first. Including a 3 Dimensional layout of the marina showing where all the power pedestals are in the marina office. In the event of a fault or overload, this incredible system notifies you by means of a physical 3D pop up on the screen pinpointing the exact location and reason for the fault, it also has the capabilities of sending the berth holder and Maintenance technician almost simultaneously an SMS message to their mobile telephone.
We also have our Vanguard systems, the first being the Vanguard Energy & Time systems which are stand alone metering packages.

Vanguard Energy
This unit provides pre-paid electricity and water services in unit measures of kWh’s and liters. Credit is deposited onto the system by means of:-
• Coin
• Reloadable Smart Card
• Disposable card
• Radio frequency identification (RFID)
The use of pre paid RFID tags allows the user to recover any remaining credit when leaving the berth.

Vanguard Time
Has the same functionality as the system above but instead of unit Measures, electricity and water is activated for a preset time period.

Due to the nature of the Vanguard Energy & Time systems all of the internal Components can be utilised at a future date to upgrade the system to the full Vanguard management, monitoring and control system.

The most incredible system of all is the Vanguard management, monitoring and control system. The Vanguard MMCS is a multifaceted, effective system capable of a vast array of functions to aid the day to day running of a marina. Based on an open industrial Ethernet solution set to become Europe’s next generation field network the Vanguard MMCS is inherently reliable and with the inclusion of a SCADA front end will soon prove its self as the best management, monitoring and control system available in the market place to date.
Unlike existing systems increased reliability of the network can be achieved by closing the line structure to form a ring. The advantage of the ring structure is that any single cable failure or malfunction of a device will not lead to disruption of communication between other devices, signals will be automatically redirected in milliseconds allowing an uninterrupted flow of data. Further advantages are the built in redundancy and future proof nature of components, tool less unit replacement and due to the Smart Slice remote I/O stations with built in media redundancy protocol less equipment is required.

Each pontoon will have its own unique HMI pedestal with the option of a LCD touch screen display, key pad, RFID tag or biometric front end interface, this will enable the berth owner to access their account and control the required services. A wealth of other information including balances, booking details, berths at other marinas and general information the list is endless. Screens can also be configured to show general marina information or even advertisements and directions for local amenities leading to the possibility of revenue generation. Marina owner/operators can remotely activate the electricity and water to each pedestal on the marina. The Vanguard management, monitoring and control system can also be configured to send SMS text messages to nominated mobile phones should problems arise. ICB engineers can also remotely log in to the system from anywhere in the world to provide complete back up and 24 hour technical assistance if required.

Some may think that it is better to try and find the lowest priced products that they can and this is fine for some basic products. For other, more complex products and installation, it is vital that they are properly installed and even more so when products are interfaced to other equipment, ‘talking’ to each other in the electronic sense. Also, it is crucial to be aware that some imported equipment may not meet UK and European standards. Such equipment may be illegal if fitted within your Marina. Using trained industry professionals, your assurance is that work will be of the highest quality, at a competitive price and with uncompromising service.
